The service
Broken Bounds offers a free online course for people who want to stop using pornography, a moderated community for adults, and paid private coaching sessions. We may improve, change or remove parts of the free service over time.
Not medical treatment
Broken Bounds is education and coaching. It is not medical, psychiatric or psychological treatment and does not replace it. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately.
Your account
- You must be at least 16. Community and coaching are for members aged 18 and over.
- Keep your password and your email account safe; password resets are sent to your email.
- One person per account. Do not share your account.
Community
By posting you agree to the community guidelines. You keep ownership of what you write and give us permission to show it to other members inside Broken Bounds. We may hide or remove content, and pause or end community access, if the guidelines are broken.
Coaching sessions
- The price is shown before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe when you book.
- Commitment-point discounts apply to that booking only. Points used are returned if the session is cancelled with a refund.
- Cancel more than 24 hours before the session from your profile for a full refund.
- Cancellations less than 24 hours before, and missed sessions, are not refunded, except where the law gives you a right to one.
- If we have to cancel, you get a full refund and your points back.
- Sessions are held on Google Meet. You may keep your camera off.
If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights, including the right of withdrawal within 14 days of booking, are not affected. By booking a session that takes place within 14 days you ask us to provide it within that period; once the session has taken place, the right of withdrawal ends.
Course content
The videos, texts and worksheets belong to Broken Bounds. You may use them for your own recovery. Do not copy, resell or publish them.
Liability
We work carefully, but the service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may end accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Law
Hungarian law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may go to court there.
